At OnPix we understand the importance of being actively involved and supportive of our local business community. OnPix is a proud member of many organisations such as the Launceston Chamber of Commerce and ICT Group, providing multiple avenues for networking and keeping in touch with developments in our community.   We also feel it is integral to communicate and positively interact with our academic community; in time this is where the business future lies. 

Seed funding for the development of RealPix project has been supported by the Tasmanian Electronic Commerce Centre Pty. Ltd. under the Business Development Fund, an element of the Launceston Broadband Project once funded by the Australian Government.

The business community in Launceston and the Tamar Valley is characterised by its diversity and breadth. The Chamber of Commerce provides a forum for everybody from large companies to small family businesses and private members. Launceston Chamber of Commerce members meet, learn and socialise together at over 30 functions each year. Deals are done, refreshments are savoured, business friendships are formed and issues affecting your region are discussed. The Chamber is parochial in its support of Northern Tasmania in terms of promoting sustainable and appropriate economic development and social wellbeing for the region.
